I love this little girl...... here are some of my favorites from December.

I wonder what she is thinking

We loved the snow but I was bummed that baby girl is too little to really play in it. I cant wait till next year, but until then I decided to have some fun in the snow. After one of her naps I bundled her all up and put her in her bumbo seat and out in the snow we went. Katelyn loved it!! even snowflakes that landed on her little nose.

Chris & Missy

I would like you to meet my friends Chris & Missy. I went to high school with Chris and I remember talking with him many nights about wanting to meet "the one" and I was sooo thrilled the day he called me to say he had finally found her. Missy, she is such a great person, sweet, caring and full of life.... perfect for Chris. A few years ago they came to me and asked if I would take their enagement pictures and of course I said YES!!! I wish them nothing but the very best in their life together.

It is such a Blessing to be a part of someone elses life, especially when it is the very beginning of their live together. We had a blast just hanging out together and I enjoyed capturing the stolen kisses, whispers and glances between the two of them when they thought I was not paying attention. Ah Ha.... Gotcha :)

Katelyn at 4 months

My baby girl is 4 months old.... to be honest she is 4 1/2 months old this week, but these are her pictures from 4 months. You can easily tell that her hair is almost red depending how the light hits it. Deffinatly a trait of Ryans.





Speaking of Ryan, he somehow found out about my blog before I could tell him and now he thinks its funny to tease me about being a "blogger" but I dont care. This is lots of fun and I am glad I started.

I was told by a girlfriend of mine that Katelyn looks like me in this picture. I have a hard time finding me in her, all I see is Ryan.

Too many pictures

hello again.... today I am trying to finish all the editing from Katelyn's "PHOTO SHOOT" on Valentine's Day. I had to document all the new things she did that day like how she was jumping in her jumperoo for the first time, usually she just sat there and looked at me like "SO WHAT, NOTHING IS HAPPENING". And of courese its amazing how once the camera comes out of its bag I cannot help but take at least 50 photos.... sometimes more like 100. of course then i spend oodles of time trying to weed out the bad vs the good and save them to shutterfly to send out to her Nanas and Aunts so they can COO over them. :)

and of course all this is done during Katelyn's nap time which for some reason are very short and very often. if this little girl could just sleep a solid 3 hours instead of 45 min. during the day I know she would enjoy playtime alot more. what a little stinker. although if we venture outside for Mommys errands she will practically sleep the entire time. Go figure. I love her more and more and i love her unpredictable little days.

Here Katelyn is playing with her new tummy time toy from Nana Wintsch. her little expressions were so sweet.... I was laughing so hard I couldn't hold the camera still.

Valentine's Day

I love Valentine's Day for three reasons
1. Ryan makes an extra special meal for us both.
2. I love the colors red, pink and white especially when in fun combinations.
3. It's just one of those Everyones Happy kind of days.

This year was especially fun because of Katelyn. Nana Miller gave her a Valentines outfit to wear and of course I took lots of pictures to rememer her very first Valentine's Day. Aunt Shannon sent Katelyn her first Valentine's card, and Nana Wintsch gave her a playtime mirror so she can admire herself. She was especially happy all day long, at least till around 7 when she had a little tummy problems. Breaks my heart each time she cries and those little tears fill her bright sparkly eyes till they come spilling down her chubby cheeks. OH My baby girl.
